DKos is unsuitable for inflight viewing. That's the bad news. The good news is we're in pretty good company.
The EFF's Nate Cardozo was on a flight yesterday when he started noticing that he couldn't get to certain tech websites, including Ars Technica and The Verge -- instead receiving messages they were blocked due to United's "access policy." The same was true for political news site Daily Kos. Eventually he even realized that United also blocks the NY Times

So welcome to United Airlines new in-flight WiFi service. You can't stream and you can't read news sites and you can't read political sites, but I'm guessing you can read Fox because that's entertainment!
As of this writing, ArsTechnica is back online after what United characterized as a glitch was fixed. It just goes to show you the dangers of censorship. There are always glitches.
Oh. In fairness, I'm just guessing you could access Fox. None of the reporters actually tried...
