Score Card of which project belong to which WH personality
Wed Feb 22, 2006 at 08:13:23 AM PDT
I have read a few diaries and posts that claim the whole port debacle smells of Rove. That it is all a plot to help Republicans running in 2006 distance themselves from Bush to help them win.
I have two problems with that theory:
- It makes Bush look weak, Rove is in the business of trying to make George look strong.
- This has all of the earmarks of a Bush pet project that was supposed to glide under the radar.
To help sort out who cames up with which crazyness we that now surrounds our daily lives, I've created a score card.

Taking the Gonzales defense to the final conclusion
Tue Jan 17, 2006 at 02:12:41 PM PDT
As most people on dKos know by know, Gonzales came out swinging this morning by hitting the morning show circuit and using the same talking points he and WH have been using to defend the illegal wiretaps.
One of Gonzales excuses was the erronous story that Clinton did it too.

Mega Chruches drop atom bomb in war on Christmas! [with poll]
Mon Dec 19, 2005 at 08:01:45 AM PDT
I was taking a peek over in Freeper-land to see how the smaller-government-loving-less-intrusion-seeking-conservatives where doing with the domestic spying revolations. Oddly, I found no smaller-government-loving-less-intrusion-seeking-conservatives there, the people in Freeper-land seem to like domestic spying. But what I did find was a story I first thought had to be fake, then I looked around some more, and found it was true.
Christian mega-churches are taking sides in the war on Christmas, and they are opposed to Christmas! (http://www.jamaica-gleaner.com/...) They are even dropping an atom bomb on this Sunday Dec. 25th, by locking up their doors and not having any services. Yes, you read that right, no church on Sunday, no church to celibrate the birth of Christ in "Christian" churches. It boggles the mind.
No More Rights -- Is the US trying to end human rights?
Thu Aug 11, 2005 at 09:43:32 AM PDT
I am starting to wonder if we have rights anymore. You can now be searched on the spot, your home or place of business can be searched without your ever know it or more importantly why, you can be placed on a no-fly list without knowing it or why you where placed on the list.
As has been covered by many diaries, with the nomination of Roberts for the Supreme Court, it seems our Right to Privacy is now in question.
